Hi all! On this snowy Friday, I know it doesn't sound like a time when we can get out and enjoy the summer air will ever get here, but I wanted to plan this even in advance. This idea was brought up for consideration by Angie, and since many people are interested, we offer the first ever Metroparks Bike Ride!biggrin
We'll meet at the Lagoon Picnic Area, off of Valley Parkway in North Olmsted, get on our bikes and ride the bike-path as far as we like! Bring some kind of packed lunch and we can stop along the way and eat!
This is a kids optional event...I know for some of the younger kids, this might be a hard one to work though, unless you've got a bike seat or one of those kid trailers to hook up. Or, if you're flying solo on that day and just want to get out and get some exercise and fresh air, come on out!
We'll meet at 11:00 AM on Saturday, at the Lagoon Picnic Area in the Rocky River Reservation. Its just due south of Cedar Point Road, and we'll say that we'll meet on the northernmost parking lot (there are two). If we get split up, its no big deal: just text me at [masked] and we'll let you know where we're at!
Plenty of great scenery and places to stop for a break...and you can go as far or as little as you like! Best part about this event is that its free!!! So, pack a lunch as we'll see you there!
